Striking deep purple foliage, and small pink-lilac flowers in winter-spring. Loves warm sheltered humid locations. Leaf colour is brighter in sun, but will grow happily in shade.

USE IN: Ideal for hedges, massed planting and as a container plant. LOCATION: Sunny sheltered position is ideal in the warmer parts of Australia. Best suited to a warm and humid climate. Plant in a free draining soil rich in organic matter and not over wet. A potting mix rich with peat moss or humus is ideal added at the time of planting.
