Kangaroo grass is found in the wild all over Australia from the bottom end ot Tassie to the top of Queensland, and from Perth and Port Hedland through the red centre to the east and south coasts.

This suggests that whatever your garden climate, it will do its best to survive. It grows in clay and sandy soils, and once established needs little extra water.

In summer the stems and seedheads turn deep orange, and if you like a tidy look you can cut the plants back in early spring to reveal fresh green growth.

PLANTING : Plant in a full sun to partly shaded position, will tolerate a wide range of soils and climates.
CARE: Low maintenance and tolerant of difficult conditions, requires little care once established. Grows better when left alone, especially in autumn-winter.
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 1.2-1.5cm x 0.5m.
