Great bird-attracting native shrub for hedging or borders - also fantastic for bees (See if you can spot the three bees in the images!) . Medium height, upright habit, frost tolerant, happy in most soil types.

Callistemon 'Lavender Showers'

DESCRIPTION: Upright growing native shrub with fresh green foliage, purple-grey when young. Flowers with hot pink brushes in late winter to early summer.
USES: Feature planting as a specimen shrub, and informal screening. Great for wildlife gardens - loved by rosellas and honeyeaters
PLANTING:  Prefers full sun but will tolerate dappled shade. Happy in any kind of soil. Mulch after planting to retain moisture and regulate soil temperatures as the young plant establishes. Tolerates frost once established.
CARE: Prune after flowering to promote another flush of colour and feed with a native fertiliser yearly
HEIGHT & WIDTH: 2-3 m H x 2-3 m W.
